There’s nothing quite like the comfort of your mother’s kitchen—a feeling I missed desperately when I moved away from home. Between back-to-back meetings and city hustle, takeout quickly lost its charm. When I tried to cook, it was too much effort, and after taking all that trouble, the taste would be off—bland or too spicy. Even if everything turned out okay, it still felt like something was missing.
That’s when my mom, Uma, stepped in, packing her love, care and traditional recipes into effortless mixes so I’d never miss a good meal.
We soon realised we weren’t alone—so many people faced the same struggle and were longing for the very same solution, “ Mom’s food “. To make home feel close for everyone, no matter where they are from, we began handpicking iconic, authentic recipes from different corners of India and crafting them into easy instant versions. What started as a mother’s care grew into TAD-The Amazing Desi. Today, we bring that same Indian mom’s love to your table—100% natural, preservative-free, and packed with all the heart of a true home-cooked meal.
